Keogh put in a great cross to Ash in the last few minutes of the game and fortunately Ash took his opportunity very well to land an equaliser for us. And a good morale booster for everyone to see Steve Yarwood back playing for a short spell in the 2nd half, as he builds up his match fitness after his knee op. No midweek game, next Sat we're away at Padiham, then the following Tuesday night, we're away at Congleton.
Aug 23, 2010, 9:22 pm The Non League show are showing an unmissable interview with Flixton Manager Lloyd Morrison tomorrow night at 8pm - downloadable if you can't watch it live! http://www.nonleaguechannel.co.uk./home.php?league_channel=3 Aug 21, 2010, 5:14 pm Got our first win at last..no more detail as yet! Aug 20, 2010, 4:57 pm Final score was 2-2 as Rossendale equalised in the final minute of the game! Aug 16, 2010, 9:58 am We're out of the FA Cup, comfortably beaten at home 3-0 by Bacup Borough. All very tough games against top teams for us in the opening couple of weeks of the new season. There have already been very decisive wins from the bigger clubs in the league and it's going to be a tough season for us with no budget. We will be under pressure to get all the points we can get against the teams in the lower half of the table. We are playing at home on Weds evening v Rossendale Utd and really need those 3 points. Aug 12, 2010, 10:57 am Lost 5-1. OK first half, but it all went wrong for us as Glossop equalised after a penalty decision. It's going to be a tough season... Aug 8, 2010, 9:18 pm We lost our first game 0-3 to a strong Ramsbottom team (with quite a band of supporters) and tipped as League title contenders. Onwards and upwards and on a positive, there wasn't a massive gap. Instead, it was our 3 mistakes that gave them their 3 goals. Shouldn't have given them the chances- simples!
